>>Hello.  As I looked at the stats for my blog, honestly, I saw that they were pretty low for the past few days.  I then thought to myself “wow I need to blog.”  But in another attempt to stay authentic; I really need to come clean.  Lately, my blog has turned into a leadership frenzy, and although I have tried to put out quality posts and posts that really mattered to me, I have decided to play by the original rules.  I hope everyone that has been reading has enjoyed the posts.  I hope they have been insightful, challenging, and encouraging, but don’t be surprised when I deviate from the leadership stuff.  Oh, and I may not post everyday either.  Quality over quantity.

Thanks everyone so much for your support and following my blog.  I hope it becomes and stays a source of challenge and inspiration to your life.  It brings me joy that some how others can connect and share in these ideas and experiences.  God bless.

>>Hallo everyone. It is important in this life to have trust and friends. But even more important than that, you have to have the combination of the two. I mean sure I have friends, but there are only a select few that I can be honest with too; and so is the story with everyone else (if you are honest with yourself or not it is still true).
I know I HAVE TO HAVE those people who I can be honest with. (EVERY LEADER HAS TO HAVE THESE PEOPLE!!!) Those who trust me as a leader and as a friend; and while I give my views, struggles, and music tastes, they don’t judge me. These are the people who can have a “trampoline faith.” (thanks Rob Bell.. Velvet Elvis..) Those who not only help shape your faith or ideas, but those who are willing to jump on the trampoline of life WITH you. Even if your religion, denomination, music tastes, look, etc is different. I thank God for my friends who I can be open with and not worry. The people you can sit and have a cup of coffee with, the people who will discuss the scripture, the people who will reminisce about old music with you. Thank God for those who choose to jump with me and can handle when I tell them the truth about my likes, dislikes, fears, ideas, beliefs, stresses, and everything else that makes up me.  I encourage you if you are a leader or you are just a human being, find those people you can trust in, and ask them to jump with you.  The personal trampoline was invented, but everyone knows that the bigger trampolines are way more fun.
