Perry and Preparation H
July 28, 2009
Ok… This is a good note to come back to on the blog. I read this blog post by Perry Noble and he puts into words something I love teaching and sharing with about. The fact that we need each other. We ALL need people to confide in, trust, and share heartaches, pain, struggles, and successes with. Please take a moment to read Perry’s post on “Preparation H and Confession”. He puts community and the fact that we need people to walk this journey with us in some really great words. Enjoi.
>>The.tale.of.a.great.leader
December 19, 2008
>>Hallo everyone. In the past, great leaders have been the type of people who persevered and conquered great giants to put them at the top. Great leaders have been visionaries and entrepreneurs of greatness and usually stand at the mountain top alone in the end, not in a point of seclusion, but of having triumphed on their own. But I feel that this generation will hardly ever see those type of great leaders anymore. But I believe that our generation will read tales of great leaders who didn’t triumph on their own, but surrounded themselves with people whom they could trust. These leaders will be open, transparent, and when they find that they aren’t adept in areas, they will bring people on board who were. I feel that the tales of the “Lone Ranger” leaders are will become fairy tales of old and the tales we will tell, of great leaders of are day, will be ones of people who moved in tribes, staffs, and circles of people. That will be the tale of a great leader.
