>>Hallo. It is funny how I see other blogs that talk about things like Soap Operas and Pop culture get more hits than mine. It is a real humbling experience every time I log on wordpress and see the “hawt posts” and it is also one of those things… Anyways. I hope everyone had a very merry Christmas and had a great time enjoying family, friends, food, and experiencing the resurrected Christ. Personally, I enjoyed spending time with my family and visiting friends this past holiday. It meant more to me than any gift card or money. It was great to sit down to some great food and just hang around my family. It has become something that have greatly come to treasure. Of course it wasn’t perfect and some family members got a little quarrelsome, but when you stand in the middle of your family gatherings, don’t write them off even though they aren’t perfect. Enjoy them for what they are worth. Of course we didn’t choose to be in our families, but we can’t let anything come in the way of our relationships with family members to where we can’t even sit down to have a meal with them. I guess I am just trying to say, appreciate your family and stick close to them. A lot of things will try to make family seem unimportant, but don’t let it be unimportant. Make it a priority.

>>This past saturday we started a new series called “Vantage Point” that focuses on three different persepctives of the birth of Jesus. For the next few weeks we will look at the perspectives of Joseph and Mary, The Wise Men, and God. This saturday we saw through the eyes of Joseph and Mary how their purity led them to be used of God. Here is the monologue that was read used to show what it would be like to be Joseph in today’s culture.
